What We Do

The Schools Partnership Program, which includes our flagship component Unified Champion Schools, is a unique education program in PreK – Transition schools (ages 18-22). The program unifies students with and without disabilities through sports and Whole School Engagement. These activities educate students with the skills necessary to sustainably develop school communities that promote inclusion, acceptance and respect for all students.

While we realize school looks different this year and many districts are adjusting to the new environment, we still have Unified Champion School programming to support your school and students. See below for resources and ideas on how to become a Unified Champion School.

Superintendent Recognition

As a teacher and former coach, I am excited by the progress the Special Olympics Schools Partnership Program is making to bring Unified Sports to more and more of our schools. Unified Sports helps general education and special education students feel involved and valued in their school community by teaching key values like acceptance and respect in a healthy and active way.
