The High Tech Challenge is Special Olympics Northern California’s signature golf tournament and fundraiser. Hosted at Silverado Resort in Napa Valley, the High Tech Challenge brings together business and community leaders in support of Special Olympics NorCal’s life-changing work.
Monday’s golf tournament is fueled by friendly competition – both on and off the green – that concludes with a live auction and exclusive cocktail reception featuring a keynote speaker and Special Olympics Athlete Ambassador. The Special Olympics spirit is infused to uplift you throughout the day with athlete activations and unified contests. New to the experience this year is a Sunday evening wine-tasting, where invited guests can mix and mingle.
7:30 a.m. Driving Range Opens
8:30 a.m. Welcome & Warmup
Golfer check-in, purchase Super Tickets, breakfast & beverages available
9:45 a.m. Opening Ceremony
10:00 a.m. Shotgun Start
Foursomes tee off on the North and South courses. The famous Burger Dogs, as well as other food and beverages, will be available throughout the day on both courses. Golfers who have purchased Super Tickets can participate in contest holes and all golfers are encouraged to donate at the athlete hole and allow a Special Olympics golfer take the putt for them for a chance to Eagle.
3:30 p.m. Cocktail Reception, Live Auction & Awards
Upon completion of rounds enjoy drinks and appetizers, remarks from a Special Olympics Athlete, guest speaker, and a live auction you won’t want to miss! The coveted High Tech Challenge trophy will also be awarded to the company whose guests earn the top score.
