SPORT SEASON
September - December

Bowling is a competitive sport in which a player (the "bowler") rolls a bowling ball down a wooden or synthetic lane with the objective of scoring points by knocking down as many pins as possible.

Although Bowling does not belong to the Olympic sports, it is among the most popular sports in Special Olympics. Initial online certification training is not available in this sport.

Expand Your Knowledge

We believe it is important for our coaches to receive certification training in order to provide them with the tools needed to help our athletes have a positive sport experience.  By taking the online certification training, coaches will learn best practices when approaching sports training with our athletes. Certification is required for certain coaching situations and recommended for all coaches.   Please also make sure to check out the SONC/SONV Rules and the National Governing Body Rules for Bowling (below).

Re-certification

If your certification is expiring soon, or expired within the last year, take our re-certification quiz to keep your certified status
