Olympic Village provided athletes the opportunity to relax, make new friends and unwind between their events. Sponsors and community groups were on hand with a variety of activities for the athletes to enjoy. An athlete favorite is always our Law Enforcement booth, where they hung out with their favorite officers and showed off their well-deserved awards. This year's Olympic Village was located inside the ARC Pavilion which was a more centralized location for all the sports venues. Olympic Village was open on Saturday from 12 noon - 6:00 pm.
Apparel Republic merchandise was available for athletes to purchase a keepsake of their exciting Summer Games experience. On Saturday and Sunday merchandise booths were located at Swimming at the Schaal Aquatics Complex and the Track and Field competition venue. Family and friends were welcome to visit the merchandise booth as well. Sorry you didn't make a purchase? Visit our online store.
Law Enforcement Torch Run merchandise was also be available. The Law Enforcement booth was located in the ARC Pavilion in Olympic Village.
Summer Games would not be complete without the Saturday night Victory Dance. A favorite among our athletes, the dance provided athletes the chance to reconnect with old friends, make new ones and dance to the latest tunes provided by the deejay. The dance was located in the ARC Pavilion and was open to athletes and coaches only. Parents and supporters may spectate from the upper level of the building.
For those that found the dance overstimulating, movies and quiet activates were available in the ARC Ballroom.
