Student Involvement
Special Olympics is more than just sports, its training for life and this philosophy pertains to more than just our athletes. Special Olympics promotes acceptance, diversity and respect through our sports and wants to continue this messaging on school campuses. Using strategies of Project Unify schools can use the tools and sports program of Special Olympics to create a better school environment for all Through Project Unify Student Involvement Activities, students are encouraged to choose the ways they want to engage their group and become active leaders on their campus.
Special Olympics Northern California offers a variety of resources to students and teachers who want to engage in any of our initiatives.
