Rock n Run 13.1 for Special Olympics Northern California!

Special Olympics Northern California!

Special Olympics Northern California and Marathon Matt are teaming up to create an extensive and exciting running and fundraising program, Rock n Run 13.1, launching on Tuesday, July. 28 @ 6:30PM and culminating with the San Jose Rock N Roll Half Marathon on Sunday, Oct.4, 2009!

• Sign up ONLINE for Rock n Run 13.1(see online registration link below) launching on 7/28/2009 and receive professional training/coaching for the San Jose Rock N’ Roll Half Marathon (race day is 10/4/2009). The San Francisco Based training program includes Tuesday night run workouts @ 6:30PM, Thursday night workouts @ 6:30PM every other week and Saturday morning run workouts @ 9:30AM!

Participant Perks
• Beginning July 28, 2009 you will have access to 2-3 professionally coached run workouts with 100+ great teammates, technical training shirts, a $25 Fleet Feet gift certificate, cool social events, store discounts, a weekly email newsletter supporting your training/fundraising, and much more!

Where/When?
Training officially starts Tuesday, July 28, 2009 at the Marina Green Monkey Bars (near the intersection of Marina/Webster Streets in San Francisco) at 6:30PM.

Participant Fundraising Requirement

• There’s no cost to register for the program. But, program participants commit to raising at least $100 for every mile of the half marathon, a total of $1300. We hope that each registered runner will be inspired raise as much as possible. This money goes DIRECTLY to Special Olympics Northern California! (see Program FAQs link for more details). Concerned about the fundraising requirement? Click the link below for some quick tips on knocking out the minimum FAST! ADDITIONALLY, if you sign up right away, that gives you MORE time to take care of your fundraising!
