Dubbed "America's Most Beautiful Run" by Sports Illustrated magazine, the 31st Annual "Glide Floss Bridge to Bridge Run" will be held on Sunday, September 30.
Proceeds benefit Special Olympics Northern California. The event is presented by Crest Glide Floss and is produced by 107.7 The Bone, KFOG and KNBR 680/1050.

The "Glide Floss Bridge to Bridge Run," a sanctioned 12K race/7K fun run/walk, starts at 8 a.m. at the Ferry Building in the shadow of the San Francisco Bay Bridge, proceeds along San Francisco's Embarcadero, and passes through Fisherman's Wharf, Aquatic Park, Fort Mason and The Presidio. 12K runners proceed along the Crissy Field Wetlands and the Golden Gate Promenade to the southern anchorage of the Golden Gate Bridge before returning to the Presidio Parade Grounds for post-run activities. Local bands are scheduled to perform along the course.

The #1 Bridge-to-Bridge Team, consisting of several Special Olympics athletes from the Bay Area, will be featured at Bridge to Bridge events and acknowledged after the race for their participation and courage to compete. Volunteers Needed

275 volunteers are needed throughout the event from 7AM to 1:00pm. Adults and high school-aged youngsters are welcome to volunteer your time and talents. Volunteers will need to volunteer directly with Special Olympics Northern California for this event.

Course Monitors & Water Stop Volunteers will check-in at the Justin Herman Plaza at the Embarcadero. All other volunteers will check in at the Presidio Parade Grounds. Parking will be provided.
