1k/5k fun run & walk September 18, 2010

Joe Jonas of the famous Jonas Brothers Band will be hosting, and running in, the 5k Run on September 18 at the Shoreline Park in Mountain View.  The Fun Run & Walk is one of several that Joe Jonas will be hosting across the country in a unique family event to raise awareness and funds for Special Olympics. 

 

The public is invited to register on-line, set a fundraising goal and compete in the fundraising challenge for top prizes, including two premiere seats for the Jonas Brothers Concert at the Shoreline Amphitheatre the evening of September 18.

33ND ANNUAL OLYMPIC CLUB GOLF TOURNAMENT September 20, 2010

Once a year, we come together at the Olympic Club, to share in the rich history of this renowned course with its tree-lined fairways, spectacular views and storied past. Over 120 golfers will enjoy a beautiful day of golf with all proceeds supporting the Special Olympics athletes in the Bay Area.

THE GREAT SACRAMENTO DUCK RACE October 2, 2010

On Saturday, October 2nd, thousands of rubber ducks will descend on the mighty Sacramento River for the 6th Annual Great Sacramento Duck Race. The Great Sacramento Duck Race is a fun & unique fundraising event for Special Olympics Northern California. Now in its 6th year, the funds raised from the Great Sacramento Duck Race support local Special Olympics programs. For just five bucks, you can support Special Olympics and sponsor a duck for the race. If your lucky duck is one of the first to cross the finish line you will win one of our fabulous prizes.

law Enforcement torch run tutu ride October 18 and/ or 19, 2010

Join us for the one or two day inaugural Law Enforcement Torch Run Tutu Ride benefiting Special Olympics Northern California. A bet was made and a ride was born! If $10,000 is raised for Special Olympics, Officer Brandon "Smitty" Smith of Berkeley PD has vowed to wear a pink tutu for from Sacramento to Long Beach.  This ride is open to the public and incentive prizes can be eared.  There are various starting and stopping points for those who want a shorter ride.
