Cingular Wireless
Due to the success of a local Pacific Bell Wireless promotion in Northern
California in 1999, Cingular Wireless (formerly SBC) expanded its relationship
nationally by becoming an Official Partner of Special Olympics USA. In just
two years, Cingular Wireless has helped raised $20.4 million for Special Olympics
USA. The company's overall goal is to raise $40 million by the end of 2003.
Cingular Wireless is the official sponsor of Team USA for the Special Olympics
World Summer Games in Dublin, Ireland, as well as a year-round partner of
Special Olympics Northern California. As part of this partnership, Cingular
Wireless employees turn out to volunteer for the SONC summer games and other
regional events.
CAL FED
The partnership between Special Olympics Northern California (SONC) and California
Federal Bank (Cal Fed) began under an agreement effective in January of 2002.
Cal Fed’s role as the Official Bank of SONC will continue through December
31, 2003. During that period, Cal Fed is SONC’s exclusive banking sponsor
for the SONC Program Competitions as well as for the Walk for the Gold and
Celebrity Winterfest fundraising events. Cal Fed is also the exclusive banking
sponsor of the Northern California and Nevada Teams USA for the 2003 Special
Olympics World Games in Ireland.

Remedy Corporation has been the title sponsor of Special Olympics Northern
California Celebrity Winterfest for the past 4 years as well as a 2003 World
Games partner.

San Francisco Tourism Board
San Francisco Tourism Board is an official partner of Team USA Special Olympics
Northern California.
The San Francisco Tourism Board’s mission is to promote the city of
San Francisco as a tourist destination and convention center. San Francisco
hosted 15.7 million visitors last year. These visitors spent just over $6.5
billion in local businesses. This massive injection of visitor dollars directly
supports local hotels, restaurants, shops and attractions. It also indirectly
bolsters practically every segment of The City's economy through its income
generation, spillover spending effects and broad positive influence on government
finances.
