Buzz Mazzuola Unsung Heroes Benefit Concert
Featuring Collin Raye

With Comedian Dick Hardwick.

Friday, May 2, 2008
Doors 6 PM, Show 7 PM

Bob Hope Theatre - Stockton, California

Join us for a night of music, laughs and inspiration as Country Superstar Collin Raye performs live at Stockton's historic Bob Hope Theater (formerly The Fox) with 100% of the ticket sales will benefit local Special Olympics programs.

Collin shot to fame with "Love, Me" in 1991. Listeners were so touched that they used its lyrics at funerals and memorial services. That set the cornerstone for a career built on meaningful songs. Five times nominated as country music's Male Vocalist of the Year, Collin Raye has consistently used his stardom to advance social causes including Special Olympics. At the 2001 Country Radio Seminar, Clint Black presented Collin Raye with the organization's Humanitarian of the Year award in recognition of Collin's issue-oriented music and his tireless charity work.

Collin's new album, Selected Hits, features live renditions of four classic Collin tunes along with a pair of newly recorded songs, "Quitters" and "A Soldier's Prayer." Collin explained that the song "Quitters" celebrates the spirit of disabled people who struggle so hard to do the things we take for granted. The "Quitters" video, which has already surpassed a million spins on Collin's MySpace page, features clips of local Special Olympics athletes and our own Buzz Mazzuola, founder of the UNSUNG HEROES Campaign. Tickets are on sale now for $20-25, and 100% of ticket sales will benefit Special Olympics Northern California.
