For the fourth consecutive year Special Olympics has been invited to be a part of the April point of service fundraising promotion with Safeway Stores. If you visit your neighborhood Safeway store in April and make a donation at checkout it will support the people with disabilities campaign. In 2010, The Safeway Foundation announced that they raised $10.7 million in April. In the four years of this partnership Safeway has continued to grow their relationship with Special Olympics Northern California through volunteering and donations.
