1. HOW MANY YEARS HAVE YOU BEEN INVOLVED IN SPECIAL OLYMPICS?
I have been an athlete for 31 years.

2. WHAT DO YOU LIKE BEST ABOUT SPECIAL OLYMPICS?
I love participating in all the sports; long distance running is my favorite. I also enjoy my role as a Global Messenger, speaking to the public about Special Olympics.

3. WHERE DO YOU GO TO SCHOOL?
I am a courtesy clerk and "Spirit" Manager at Albertson's.

4. WHAT ARE YOU MOST LOOKING FORWARD TO AT THE NATIONAL GAMES
The chance to compete in my track & field events and meeting people from all over the United States.

5. DO YOU HAVE A FAVORITE MEDAL OR RIBBON THAT YOU ARE MOST PROUD OF?
I am very proud of the gold medals I have won for the 800 meter run in Track. I am also very proud of being the 2004 San Jose Sports Hall of Fame Special Olympian of the Year.

6. WHEN YOU ARE NOT DOING SPECIAL OLYMPICS WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO DO?
I love participating in "The Rhythm Makers" which is a signing and dancing band and I am an active member of "The Social-lites" a social club. I also bowl with the "Go-Getters" league and enjoy listening to music and writing stories in my notebooks.
